Is there any way to activate the menu for an already existing username? i heard there was an roundabout way to activate it through hacking several government servers, this way you wouldn't have to register a new user.

I'd just like some kind of confirmation before spending the better part of a day doing the hacks

Mmmm i dont really think that you can do that... and the gov server is quite unhackable.

There's only one way to bring the cheat menu up in the game.

There's technically two ways, but the second requires a level of ingenuity that I doubt anyone here would have.

Having the DevCD helps find it, but I didn't originally find it with the DevCD.

Major kudos to anyone who can find my method.

I should point out that the patch outlined above only applies to the SSE2 compiled executable, if anyone actually cares, I'll do one for the x86.

I'm getting lots of PM's from people who can't enter the cheat menu. I am answering each one, but it would be much better if everyone posted here instead of sending pms.

Please don't honour private requests to reveal the cheats. There's enough hints here to make them work anyway.

If people continue to be this lazy, I may need to just disable the cheat menu.

And I'm not really wanting to do that.

yeah, i know, thats my point... i dont want to answer every pm with the solution. im not doing that, either... but the same hints i could give on pm are on this post. even better, in the game.
