OK, I didn't get to investigate this today, but I will tomorrow morning (it's 12:10AM here now). I need sleep first EDIT: Looks doable though. |

Mods should works with Uplink 1.55 Steam (Dev CD 1.55 and Uplink Steam 1.55). Steam authentication's is now done in a separate DLL. * Uplink Steam 1.55 isn't released just yet (was waiting on better testing). |

Based on what I read in the Uplink dev forum, doesn't this basically remove any warez protection?Steam authentication's is now done in a separate DLL. * Uplink Steam 1.55 isn't released just yet (was waiting on better testing). Or am I going to need to take a diff from 1.54 to 1.55? If you need, I can supply that better testing. |

Not really, the Steam authentication DLL still ask Steam if you purchased Uplink. And world.dat is still needed for no Steam version to work. EDIT: On a different subject, I could be interested in patch for bug and feature which improved Uplink gameplay without changing it _too_ much. |

I have a quite a few. I think we kept an unofficial 1.60 branch without my game-altering changes. I'll get back to you in a bit on that. |

It's a version of Uplink you can purchase using Steam. Y'know, Valve's proprietary (I think?) digital software distribution program? -- Griffinhart PS. Next time, Google. |

Haven't done anything on it yet. We have an internal patch that should enable it to work, but I haven't applied it yet because I've been busy helping Introversion with Multiwinia.
