I really, like really, hate this theme, I vote for the old one, it was much better (and had less bugs). This one does completely lacks the hacker atmosphere, and is the opposite of user friendly. |

I don't like the ones so far. The first one had a hacker feel but had bad functioality - though it got the job done. This one is just too white.... I like the current layout but turn down the whiteness... colors like my site (http://www.neckbreakerz.co.nr) made it for my sisters clan site. |

I voted for the old site, because it is the one I came to Onlink with, and just because I like it over this one. I say put the old site design up, but fuse the functionality of both sites. |

I hate this theme too. Doesn't fit Onlink well, and the logo at the top left is just... UGLY. |

Oh wow I just looked at the logo and it sent chills through me. BTW I can do some small scale web projects (basic to moderate html, basic php, that kind of thing) because I have read HTML for Dummies and a PHP, Apache, MySQL Web Development book. So I'm happy to help. |

I hate the logo Anyways, I would be more than happy to help too, I have like loads of time now, and no way too spend it all. I've mastered PHP and (X)HTML, CSS, SQLite and most of MySQL. |

I'd definitely be happy to review any proposed site designs. Just put some demos up somewhere and I'll have a look. |

No art here Note: Everyone that knows PHP and that has a bit of time left, can help me out with a few of my projects, contact me. Note2: Everyone that wants to learn PHP, can also contact me. Note3: I don't do AJAX, I can code/script it, but it still isn't supported by a lot of browsers, which can point out annoying if you have only access to a CLI browser. Note4: The forum seems b0rken, lot's of debug messages here. |

You may note that the IO.IN and Uplink Laboratories sites both use Naiad (though they both use different versions of it), an AJAX web site engine. It will fall back to HTML if the browser is not a known AJAX-capable browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, or any Gecko-based browser [Firefox, Camino, etc]). If the browser is a known AJAX-capable browser, but is blocking Javascript, it will notify the user. But on browsers like Links or Lynx, the pages render as if they weren't AJAX.Naiad is closed source, and is actually an internal project, but Miah and I have already discussed using it for the Onlink site. The only problems would be writing a proper theme for it and integrating the forums with the engine. |

It's not the processor that's the limitation there... It's the graphics card. I've run it on much slower machines with decent graphics cards and it works fine.

You know, you can do a lot with just basic html and nice graphics, look at my website, all html: http://www.e-ringtech.com Anyways, check out this Onlink logo I made using Powerpoint 2007's WordArt feature: http://www.e-ringtech.com/onlinkmodlogo.png I did make a whole webpage in powerpoint, but unfortunately Powerpoint splits it up into a bunch of xml files and it can only be viewed in ie, |
