i have searched through the forums for a ocuple days now ( i wanted to make sure ! ) but i can't find any where that clarifies what each of the functions of the mod on the updates page does.

For axample its ok saying
AI 1.0 - DONE
but what is that AI ? is it other hackers doing missions ?
is it other hackers getting you ?
is it improved missions ?
it would just be nice to have a list of the extra things
and what is the Lanlade core ?

the other thing is. it could be made a bit more clear on the website that ontop of the main install you require the nightly patches (had to search the forum for that one- only noticed cos onlink kept telling me it needed updates!)

just giving you th eperspective of someone new to onlink
and can i just say. What i have found and seend in onlink so far is FANTASTIC! thanks for making such a great mod

im sure when you tell us what the extra bits are behind it i will see it as beeing even better

I'm starting to feel myself a little lost too. I'd be REALLY happy if there was a readme file (or something like that) which explains the proper installation of Onlink starting with the installation of Uplink (without any patches)
The first version of Onlink (Onlink-P6) I saw was superb, but when I started to download the "newer" versions I found that the version number had decreased (eg. a month later I could download Onlink_Installer_0.0.3), it cannot handle a wide-screen desktop (laptop) and it has a one row taskbar. The same problem exist with the KoriaLanlade version.I bet I've done something wrong at the installation. How could I solve this.
BTW, the version I've tried is superb. This neew version is even better I presume.

this is the lastest generic version

all u have to do is to install uplink v1
create a profile
then delete the profile
install 1.31 the mod was written for this version
create a profile
then delete the profile
then extract the contents of the zip over the folder u installed uplink and you'll be set to go

also dosn't work with the steam version it dosn't have a file for some reason that's in the non-steam version
