Looking at the progress part of the Onlink site, it says "New Music (Uplink: The Mod) Completed Featured in v0.1.0n1". I don't remember being asked if you could use the music from Uplink: The Mod.

Also, in the news post it says that you'll be converting old Uplink mods for Onlink. Which mods will these be, and are you asking permission from the various owners?

we need to find out which mods are applied and if we ask permission. it depends (can we contact, is it important enough to ask).

i would be honered if my mod would be used in onlink. it's a prove your mod is good enough.

Anyway, regarding the music, I thought Miah had asked.
Technically unless there is an actual international copyright on them, he doesn't have to. However, it is polite to ask. If you feel that strongly about it, they could be removed, but that's totally up to Miah.

Most of the mods won't need porting, it's just the gateways really.

I have outlined the following method with respect to the mod porting:
The respective creaters of the mods will be emailed before they are ported. If the owners do not respond within about 2 weeks, the mods will be considered as abandoned and they will be ported regardless. However, if the mod creator comes forward after this period and says that they do not wish to have their mod in Onlink, it will be removed. If, after a decent attempt to find them, they seem to have dropped off the net (i.e no contact details available), then the same applies as a non-responsive creator.

Obviously Miah needs to approve this.
