I believe there were copyright issues, so the guide could not continue forward. Nevertheless, Onlink has changed, so the guide in progress would probably have to be rewritten anyways.

i have the "ultimat uplink guide 2.0" but it only cover so much...

can't somebody just use the uplink guide and rewrite it, The copyright law only say that you can't copy his text "right off" but if you use his guide as a template, (phrases, rearange the word and such) then it is a new work and the copyright dosen't apply...

i would do it if i had time and skill about the game but i have just start using onlink so i don't know how to do things yet...

Well, a lot of information can be found on the wiki. Not quite as much information as in the Uplink guide, but still has a bit.

Adding to Rickton's post, once you get the hang of Onlink a bit, feel free to help fill up the wiki.

Ok, i just read it... lots of info on stuff, but not how you complete the missions like "Trace Bank transfere"...

i got i really good misson the other day, i should Trace some money, and all i got was a name, how do i solve that?

When the wiki gets to a certain size, it is possible someone will release an Onlink guide, yes. To answer your other mission question, I have no idea.

Sorry, I just don't play Onlink. I will play any new releases to test them out, but Onlink is not on my list of games that I play frequently.

About populating the wiki: any objections to posting mission walkthroughs?

I'm not so sure about walkthroughs. Maybe hints for the mission, but no spoilers or anything, of course.

Really, most of Onlink doesn't change anything from Uplink, it just adds new stuff (like gateway servers, killers, etc.), and most of that stuff is featured either on the wiki or here on these forums. Search is your friend.
