I'll see if I can get hold of Icepick for you.

Send it to me when you're done for proof-reading and I'll host it on my site.
Miah might even link to it ^_^

I'll see if I can get rid of Icepick for you.

Send me a shotgun when you're done and I'll stop him doing you for copyright violation ^_^

EDIT: i have completed the software/hardware section, it has gotten an redesign and all new hardware/software is in it. now i gonna work on the security systems: NORMAL SERVER/LAN/VDPIN/PC hacking.

As far as I'm aware, he hasn't copywritten the Uplink Guide.

Copyright is only truly valid if it is an international copyright, which costs several thousand pounds.
You'll find that most works that have been written by a small company or an individual will not actually be copywritten, even if it says so.
These copyright messages are to deter people from stealing the work.

However, it is polite to ask. If Icepick hasn't replied in a few days, you can pretty much say that it's uncopywritten abandonware.
Besides, why are you using the Uplink Guide to write an Onlink one? Redo the entire thing, using only the layout of the Uplink Guide.

i ahve decided that icepick can go to hell with his copyright. he should have replied by now, but he don't. if he asks about the copyright i tell him to go to the police, i dont believe he has really copyrighted it. i have sned miah an private message about me being the leader of this project (sound cool). this manual will helppeople who are confused about everything new onlink has in addition to uplink. and it is better to have everything described. so every1 can understand every new part in onlink.

mayby cuz off all the work that needs to be done, this will speed up the manual by weeks and you almost won't reconise the ultimate uplink guide in it, so much im going to change

i have updated most of the security and hacking part (need some1 to check all the security things, copied most of them from the faq (but some security system are deleted, i guess) i deleted all junk (secrets, faq, pop tarts etc.). i got only 1 question. because of the fast nightly build progress i don't have gotten to far in the game. so is the story line the same as in uplink or completely different.
