I've finished my new design on my website. http://burningmace.onlink-mod.net/ It will NOT work in IE. At all. I refuse to support it. Ever. Also, IE hates frames and I would have to re-write the site completely to get it to work with it. It will work in Firefox and most Linux browsers. All artwork on the site was done by me in Adobe Photoshop CS2. Entire site written by hand in notepad. Oh, and there's a rather humourous custom 404 page. Anyhoo, constructive comments would be much appreciated. [EDIT] Changed URL to new one. |

Cheers.  Thanks go to TimTim for getting me the hosting, and Onimous for writing most of the 404 poem. Feel free to try the challenges. Also, I've added a LANs page. Only one there for the moment, but there will be more to come. Unfortunately the LANs don't work with Onlink as of yet. I need Miah's help to sort that out. |

Somebody called UdelarandTigress emailed me with all the correct answers to the first three. He/she seems to be one clever cookie. Also, someone called ElementH emailed me with the answer to the first one. I'll leave all you lot to attempt them though

That's because you didn't use the subdomain. Also, the URL has changed to http://burningmace.onlink-mod.net Read the news page on my site And the 404 might not work properly with the new domain... *checks* aha, it does work. I'm about to change the URL at the top. |

Can you provide links at the moment to the challenges bcos I use my dad's pc and if he finds out about me installing stuff, he'd go mental! can people go on http://www.Uplink-Stuff.tk every so often, so it doesn't get abandoned, people can put their own patches on there by sending them to me (TO Evil.Nebster@gmail.com NOT the one on the site!) You try going to their website! It's in Portuguese!  AND Translators don't work on my PC! |

Well for a start your dad would probably prefer you to use Firefox. Let him read through the firefox website. From experience, the reason older people tend to stick with browsers like IE is that they like the familiar stuff and think that the new stuff is probably going to blow their machine to pieces and let in "teh haxorz". Firefox is much more secure and stable than IE. I can see why UdelarandTigress stopped when he/she/they did... I'd get a friend to have a go at your challenges before you decide how difficult they are. And I'd fix the spelling mistakes in the third challenge, and take out the new line characters in the 5th. Your program doesn't handle them very well, and they are unnecessary... |
