Also, that </script> tag suggestion doesn't work.
I use <script src="file.js" />, which is self closing and complies to W3C standards for sourced scripts.

I've downloaded your entire site and modified it so that it displays in IE. It took me some time, so I may have forgotten what the changes were. I remember the </script> being the biggest. You also had several unclosed tags that I closed (a few <body> tags). I can zip it all up and mail it to you if you want.

Figured out the active x problem: Have to register the dll (windows).
in the run dialog box enter:

regsvr32 "C:\Documents and Settings\Constable\Desktop\acxe.dll"



You will have to change the path to reflect where you actually saved the challenge. Man, this certanly helps alot. I've been working on this the whole time with out the exe. Tip: Its a DLL. Why not make your own program that uses it? (How do you think I realized I needed to register the dll?!)

Oh, and Burningmace, I guess I deleted the folder of all the changes I made to your pages. I'll download it all again later and make those changes.

Well I obviously downloaded it, since the axce.dll is inside the zip, D'OH??
And I spent I nice share of my time trying to figure out how to take care of that, but up to now no progress.

ACXE.dll isn't a standard API library. It doesn't export any functions.
It is an ActiveX DLL, designed to be used by my programs to encrypt things.

Erk... just realised I've made a mistake. The code I gave you all in challenge 7 was messed up and done with an outdated version of ACXE that didn't match the code anyway. I've re-uploaded with the proper codes, DLL and EXE.
