Whenever I try to access any page on http://www.onlink-mod.net (excluding the forums) I only get a blank page in return. This bug exists for about a month now I guess. Is this only me or does someone else have this problem as well. The returned page has this HTML source: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD> <BODY></BODY></HTML> |

uh. eh? <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> We don't even use this. We use XHTML 1.1. What web browser are you using? |

Tried IE and Mozilla. IE returns a blank page with the source I gave. Mozilla does load for a while, then stays on the page I was before. UPDATE: I tried an anonymizer Proxy today (JAP) and I CAN access the site when it is active (I still cannot when its deactivated). So the question would be - is there any reason your server could deny access from Austria (or a German Windows, or...) or is the only ecplanation that someone on my regular route decided to invoke censorship?! Note that the forum page works even without the proxy - which is extremely strange IMHO. |

Things like that can happen occasionally, I suggest you restart your router. I'll search the error log for your problem and see if I can fix it if it's on our side. |

Any news about the logs before I start terrorizing my ISP with support requests? PS: I turn off my router with the PC, so it is restarted at least once/day. |

The only way that it could be us at this point would be if we banned you IP. ...in which case, you wouldn't be able to access these forums either. I'd say it's an ISP issue. Try loading: http://darwinite.com (On the same server). Does it load? |

Darwinite works fine. <sigh> Talked to my provider. Says it works fine on his PC. I forsesee a LOOOOOONG tech support case. Tried it with my providers proxy now, which gave a new error message: ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved While trying to retrieve the URL: [no URL] The following error was encountered: * Zero Sized Reply Squid did not receive any data for this request. Your cache administrator is webmaster. Generated Tue, 22 Nov 2005 11:35:38 GMT by proxy.elsnet.at (Squid/2.3.STABLE4-hno.CVS) Sounds a bit like a DNS/nameserver problem, but why do subpages work then? Hmmm... Anyway - thanks for your efforts - I'll try and see if I can find the bug with my provider now |

Dubpages work? http://onlink-mod.net/docs/english.txt http://onlink-mod.net/?page=default How about those? |

The text one (http://onlink-mod.net/docs/english.txt) works. The other one does not. It kinda seems to me that anything that is a "design page" does not work, while plain text or downloads do work. Which would suggest that there is something in the template of the webpage (but not in the forum one) that causes problems (on itself or together with some overzealous firewall). |

this ?: http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/ then check: http://mozilla.gunnars.net/mozfaq_use.h ... ting_guide or do you use FireFox, it's not a world of difference however how much alike they are they are still different. firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ (on a personal note. I support NOT using IE, and if for some reason you have to ONLY use it for that) |

I am using some version of Mozilla AND IE 6.x Neither works, so it is not a browser thing. However since today the frontpage magically started working again - without me changing anything. So looks like my provider found the bug (I don't see any differences on the onlink page)... |
