Post subject:  running onlink on Linux

I've been trying to run onlink on linux Mint 17 64bit (ubuntu 14.04 based) but I keep getting this error:

./onlink: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_image-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I already tried to install libsdl2-dev libsdl-image1.2-dev libsdl-mixer1.2-dev
none of them worked, so what am I missing?

I've found the libraries to install

in case someone else is trying to run Onlink on a debian based linux:

sudo apt-get install libsdl-image1.2:i386
sudo apt-get install libsdl-mixer1.2:i386

I installed other libraries on the process, but those 2 made the changes that I noticed
