It would not be strange if there were only one DSN in the world?

Alright. the Change DNS mission has stumped me. i have no <BLEEP>ing clue what to do. i have spent an IRL hour trying to figure it out which led me all over the place, but nothing. can someone give me a step-by-step guide to this? i'm lost as to how such a viscious puzzle could come about at such a low level. i mean, it asked me to subvert a lifting server. A LIFTING SERVER. |

Clue: your netwok access provider has data about you, then if you want data of someone, where do you find it can someone give me a step-by-step guide to this? i'm lost as to how such a viscious puzzle could come about at such a low level. i mean, it asked me to subvert a lifting server. I've merged your threads. In the future, please refrain from spamming the forums with multiple topics about the same subject. About your request for help, if the clues given by Pedro haven't helped, here's a walkthrough. SPOILER WARNING You're looking for the name server for that company. It's where the DNS data is located. There's two ways to find it: - Get the link for the name server from that company's Internal Services Machine, which you can find in InterNIC. - The second method is a lot easier, so I'll just give you a hint. So, companies have a name server for DNS handling. But what about the name servers themselves, who could handle their DNS? Maybe a widely known government-run database. |
