Thanks guys, I can finally play Onlink without crashes and huge, empty log banks.

Yes, but the VSEC solutions link on the wiki is dead, and right now, I'm standing in front of a massive missions failure because of VSEC lockdown and gateways. :(

someting called denial is the best solution for VSEC,though you have to spend some time on planting it,it's worth it.

I know about denial, but i haven't reached it yet. Not that I remember where it is anyway, but I managed to find a solver(more like the solver) in which i can customize what I need.

In the a8 version you can buy it;

In the a7 version you can steal it from some project server.

Yeah, remembered where it was after I wrote my last post, and now the Uplink missions list is full of "trace a hacker" that is most likely me. :twisted:

Too bad that I had to redo about 6 missions because of a crash that corrupted my save, but I'm back on track. Oh, and I found a V3 VSEC that twisted all VSECs, known bug in a7, but I guess this is the price for playing Onlink without massive empty logs.

I'll never touch VSEC.

Well, that would mean that some missions are a certain failure, as you would need to destroy all data that the gateway backups, which denial can't do.

On another note, Onlink keeps crashing when I connect to the Ferrous Moon LAN. Sometimes it does that on the Mainframe as well, but while it passes sometimes, on LAN it always crashes to desktop without an error message.

EDIT: It seems that it crashes because of the security measures (monitor, nuke). It worked if I didn't start them.

Haha,the game directly ends your game.

I don't do data destruction missions,it's not interesting.

Indeed, I'm getting bored with them, but I want to reach a high neuromancer rating, which means they are the only missions I can accept (beside delete/steal research).
