Hi my first time writing on this forum, been following for years. I was wondering if someone could help me with my onlink game as ive been wanting to play it for ages but it keeps crashing. It gets to a point in the game where it just crashes. I have no idea what is wrong but it will just throw me to desktop. then when i try to load the same game, i can play for a bit but when it hits the same month as it did before it crashes again and just repeats. It looks like it wont let me go past a certin month asif there is a time look before i needed to finish the game. Its really annoying because ill spend 6 or so hours straight then it will just crash. Btw this is the first game that i have ever spent an all nighter on and its still my last i love it so freaking much. Thanks for you time guys and any help will be appreciated |

Hi,since I watched Sir MMPD Radick's youtube videos,I decided to use the same version he did,as follow: onlink-data-0.2.0-a7.tar.gz onlink-x86-0.2.0-a7-45-g2086ad0.tar.gz After downloading them,just unzip them to a file naming onlink.That'll be enough. Now I just met several crashes, all of them occured while I was clicking the disconnect button,NO save crash.I don't know why - -! The a7 version is working sort of fine for me,now I don't pray any more.It is to be regretted that I cannot hack the saved profile any more......,the profile is binary format instead of the a8's text format.It doesn't matter for me,I've got 13 million credits and the NO.1 on Uplink,hacked all the websites I can imagine,planted over 50 servers with denial(all of them are 6 level protected ones.).I even hacked the other hackers' auxiliary gateways to bounce with.Except the VSEC fighting,I don't know what to do next..... If your computer is a 64 bit one,you should need : onlink-x86_64-0.2.0-a7-45-g2086ad0.tar.gz PS:I don't know why it warns me of showing http address,so I change to put the download address into a txt file. Don't forget to cancel the option of autosave if you're playing a8 version. Every time you save, it puts all the things in memory into a xml file,then zips it to the xml.gz file. The time spent on saving and loading is a torture.Now I choose a7 version,saving and loading are so simple. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sometimes I played the VDPIN in the GCD without the cracker,Sometimes I successed~~ Now I find a little fun with it. |

Thanks so much hey guys, I'm surprised i got a response this quick. I will download it and test it out. Hopefully since no work tomorrow ill be playing till dawn.  (4hours later) Working great guys, no blank logs either. Just waiting on the crashes to happen when i get 6 hours in or so but from what you say there will be no issue. Again thanks for the working game, words can not express my appreciation. |

Also don't forget to save to avoid random crashes,even though you don't have save failure. |

Maybe when I corrected the font color and font size,the attached file got lost. Now It should be OK. |
