    Hey guys!I'm a big fan of Onlink,but I'm being tortured by the endless Crash,Crash,... and Crash.Each time I save my profile I wish and beg, don't crash,don't crash and don't crash~!!!

    The onlink version I'm playing is onlink-x86-0.2.0-a8-23-g0c617cf.tar.gz.I tried to play on openSuse12.1 linux platform with onlink-linux-0.2.0-a8-22-g09e0948.tar.gz,but it's continuing blinking and never stop,I tried to change the screen frequency to fix,but it did't work,so I gave it up on linux.

    Now I have the habit of after doing a tiny task,I save,wish and beg,cheer,then joyfully move on.Even if the save goes successfully,the time cost also drives me crazy,(after all the save success ratio is 1/10),so I depressed my xml.gz to figure out what the hell is so big:logs,logs and logs!So I decided to kick out all the connecting logs,I don't care whether the deed affects the storylines or what ever(maybe the bank access logs),I just want to stop the longtime

    waiting. I don't know the xml language and the details of the profile content,I just made a try to remove all the "logbank"(in which part stores connecting logs),using C language(It's simple maybe dump but don't mock me).

    Now I'm glad to enjoy the quick loading, continue to bear the crash,crash,and crash~ T_T

    I hope it won't affend the Onlink composers ^_^

    And If you want to try it,you can do it as below:
    step1. directly download the exe file Or copy the onlinkThinner.c to your computer and compile it yourself.
    step2. create an independent folder to put your onlinkThinner.exe and the depressed yourname.xml into.
    (on windows platform you can use winrar or winzip to depress yourname.xml.gz to get yourname.xml file)
    step3. rename yourname.xml to b4.xml,directly run your onlinkThinner.exe,you'll get af.xml,wow~!It's so thin!
    step4. rename af.xml to yourname.xml.
    step5. compress yourname.xml to yourname.xml.gz.
    (on windows platform you can use gzip.exe,under comand line mode,type:
    gzip.exe -9 yourname.xml
    you'll get yourname.xml.gz,and the yourname.xml is gone~~)

    Now you can copy the new thinner profile to replace the fatter one to experience,but before all the steps DON'T forget to back up the orignal profile!!!

    I did on my windows XP 32 bit platform,now the save failue ratio has dropped to 1/4.
    BTW,have a good search on yourname in the xml file,you can find your information and the money you have...^o^

    ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    Here is my status:

    icanfly.xml.gz 7,528KB b4.xml 101,592KB reading profile: 11.606s importing profile 51.728s
    icanfly.xml.gz 1,335KB af.xml 15,465KB reading profile: 6.009s importing profile 5.942s

    removed type1 logbank: 204, type2 logbank: 1843

    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    Unfortunately I can only upload 1 file,I'll reply myself with the .c file right now.

    Err..I used Yellow and Larger font in fact.

    Huge font makes me have to adjust my IE.

    Yellow font with black(or grey?) background releases my stress in reading,I have a deep degree glasses to wear...

    the problem of the size of the save game is just the xml that has everything you need to store, using a reference and resource files to store the extra referrals would greatly reduce the size of the save game
