Upload your user profile. It sounds like a bad event scheduled, so I'll need to use the scheduling tool to find the nature of the problem, which isn't available to you.

Download file, open Onlink, load profile, error, save file is not compatible.

See log, notice that a9 was tagged, wonder if I changed the file format. XML wasn't supposed to do this. Resolve to ask Tycho.

See that Tycho isn't on, take nap instead waiting. Wake up 11 hours later. Oops. Tycho is still not on. Grumble.

Decide to manually check file. Open file in text editor. File is actually source for the page to get the real file. Hate.

Remind that using DropBox is better than RapidShare in the future.

Download file for real this time. Move file to staging. File opens, fails to save properly. Fix bug that doesn't affect any actual releases. Find that bug obliterated the staged savefile.

Go to download file again. "Get your own premium account now! Instant download access! Or try again in about 13 minutes". Plead people to not use RapidShare. Please dear god etc.

Refresh. "try again in about 8 minutes".

Refresh. "try again in about 4 minutes".

Refresh. "try again in about 2 minutes".

Rage a little.

Refresh. "try again in about 2 minutes".

OH COME ON.

Refresh. "29 seconds remaining".

"..."

Download. 200kbps on my fat 70Mbps pipe. Hate RapidShare some more. Wait.

Wait.

Finally. Stage file again. Kickstart GDB.

OH GOD JUMPING SPIDER. Smash with my best friend of the last 48 hours; a bottle of Ibuprofen. Towel off smear on desk.

Open file. Run for a while. No crash. Reopen file, check event queue. Notice two hardware upgrades happening in two minutes. Allow those to finish, save file.

Offer file for testing. Request RapdShare not be used again.

And this is why I've never done a livecast of coding/debugging sessions.

Mhmmm i did enable full speed only for you for the download, dont know why it was so slow then.....im sorry im new here as you can see. And you also shouldnt have had any waiting time :?
Well maybe I missed a field to mark....sry

Next time i do better :)

But thank you for your patience and trying to fix, i will try right now. I edit to my post if it worked :D

edit: It still crashes :(
It's the same as before.....always seems to be when sth is upgraded, maybe the cpus i bought, could it be a conflict with the already installed cpu with the fan attached? Just a guess as i cant enter any menu when the update is done whichever it was.
Or am I missing sth in my installation maybe...as it doesnt crash for you

If you don't go with Miah's suggestion of DropBox, at the very least use http://www.mediafire.com. None of that waiting 15 minutes between downloads bullshit.

Okay. Well.

Tell me the approximate in-game time that everything goes to hell. Either I run to that time and crash, thereby finding the bug, or I don't crash, advance past that time, and save and give you the file again.

Are you very sure that there isn't a debug log?

Ok, i tried multiple times now.
At first there are two updates to be done, the last update is finished at 00:26:06
It seems that after that time/update if I move my mouse over any menu or link the game crashes so I cant click anything. But if I dont click or move the mouse I can advance for hours at least it seems like that, so i cant give you a specific time of the actual crash.

Btw all other saves work that I have. Oh and one more question...I had to extract the xml file from the archive and rename it to xxx.xml.gz otherwise the save didn't load, is that normal? I mean its nth else then the file you uploaded.

Where should the debug log be? Either in the main directory or in the user profiles right?

Are you kidding me? If only more livecasts were like this! :classy:

(On a separate note, quoting your post on the PSP was like giving birth to a pineaple trough my rectum)

This is why we don't use the PSP's web browser.

Given my current situation, it's better than nothing...
