Stay high, my friends.

Weird. The Most Interesting Man in the World looks like Tommy Chong. Maybe it's just because they're old white guys with beards? (You all look the same.)

Well I don't have sound. I've searched all day for a reason. This is what it says when I load onlink
Quote:
GL_ARB_multisample is supported by the renderer.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 64 samples failed.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 32 samples failed.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 16 samples failed.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 8 samples failed.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 6 samples failed.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 4 samples failed.
Multisample test with 1 buffers and 2 samples failed.
Found maximum multisampling settings
- Max Buffers: 0x
- Max Samples: 0x
- Time elapsed: 0.059
MultisampleBuffers: 0
MultisampleSamples: 0

I have an external M-Audio sound card on account of how I "makes those grimy street beats" and ubuntu works fine but onlink has no sound.. PLEASE HELP.. I miss stealing money... Onlink without sound is like bud with no lighter... Its only so much fun to just look at it...

edit..... Internal sound card works, but the windows version of onlink worked with the m-audio. Strange

This has nothing to do with sound.

What can't you get sound to work on? Linux? Mac? Windows?

Linux. I use Ubuntu linux. The sound plays fine through my internal sound card. If I play onlink through my external MAudio soundcard, there is no sound. I can exit Onlink and music and sound effects play fine through the MAudio SC. I go back into Onlink and there is no sound. I unhook from my external and plug into my internal and it works fine. I am also using the last (45 i believe) a7 build. a8 had the 1-1-1970 thing for the mission dates and would only spit out 8 lines of missions at once.

I hope that makes sense... I am stoned..

I'm sorry, did I just cross stream with X-Box Live? No one fucking cares if you're stoned/how high you are/etc.

Indeed. We don't want to hear it.

Well the username is appropriate at least.
Also don't be dicks you guys he only said that because he realized what he was saying wasn't making much sense so he was apologizing in advance.

What is it about Onlink attracting stoners?

I have no idea why you even think it does. People who advertised that they smoked pot were Gwanky and I guess this guy. That's 2 out of almost 1600 members. I mean, obviously there are a lot more people who do on the forums but I don't really see where your argument is.

Let me frame this for you.

This is a game forum.

This is not a place to casually discuss illicit activities.

No one wants to know if you're high or not. Being high isn't an excuse. If you think you're not terribly coherent, say that you can clarify if needed.

Realistically, I don't want it because it adds completely nothing of value to the discussion. If you want to discuss whether or not pot should be illegal, even that's fine. But even in such a thread, explaining that you're presently high adds nothing to the discussion whatsoever.

Funny that you say that it doesn't contribute to the discussion when you and Tycho are the ones who derailed the thread to talk about an inconsequential part of the post and didn't even address the question.
But I'd forgotten that "harass the players over minutiae" is part of your business plan.

I thought the original post explained the problem. But tycho, in his infinite wisdom, missed it. So I re-explained and offered an explanation of why the explanation might not explain. I'm a 28 year old man. You don't speak to me like some fucking teenager on the net okay.. I smoke for medicinal reasons and thats neither here nor there. I guess a more appropriate response would have been, "If that doesn't make sense, fuck off" Would that fly as "acceptable" by your standards?

I don't think anyone here really cares about your "medicine" problem.

Just a thought.

To be honest, cussing at people on the internet because they don't care about your "medicine" problem makes me think you are a teenager on the net.
