Okay, so I just found this great mod to add to Unlink (I haven't even finished the first but still) which seem to add a few softwares, hardwares and mission which is all great. However, I got stuck at this DNS mission where you have to find a Name Server to search for a specific IP then change some information but I can't seem to do that because those servers had crazy secure system. My current ranking is Confident I think which is quite low but those servers require either voice analyze (at least), firewall or poryx bypass/disable and one of the servers could even stop me from reading anything yet start a software. Is this a bug or something that has been changed to be very hard missions compared to Uplink? A good way to find out if a mission is hard is profit and these only give about 2-3k credits like the others I have. |

Don't sweat it, the difficulty curve is just plain silly and it doesn't look like anyone is going to bother catering to newbies. I recommend that you grind the original Uplink for a year and see if you get any better. |

So it is not a bug? You're just supposed to wait until you get the right equipment or?Seems a bit strange considering the payment, by that time, will be awful and almost not worth it. Yes I went back to Uplink but not because of the difficulty (I liked Onlink's additions) but it started crashing too often to be playable so I will wait until I can play a stable version. |
