bored, wanted to use neott's skin on onlink, made new buttons for the onlink specific tools, decided i should share it

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION (YOU MUST HAVE WINRAR INSTALLED):

    1. download the theme HERE
    2. unpack "graphics.rar" to anywhere, like the desktop. you should have a folder marked "graphics"
    3. locate your onlink directory, and find "data.dat"
    4. right click "data.dat" and do "open with..." find WinRAR and hit [ok]
ALTERNATIVELY: you can rename "data.dat" to "data.rar" and just double click it
    5. WinRAR will open and you will see the contents of "data.dat"; drag and drop the "graphics" folder from the desktop to this window; it should pop up with the "Add to archive..." window.
    6. hit [ok] and it will recompress the file
    7. close WinRAR

    NOTES:
if you renamed "data.dat" to "data.rar" make sure you name it back before running onlink

if you might want the blue theme back in the future, make a copy of "data.dat" before opening and editing it. name it data.dat.old or something.

EDIT: i know i couldve put it into its own folder so it shows up in the themes menu but im lazy and didnt know if it would work; if you want to try this method just rename the "graphics" folder to "technik" before adding it to data.dat; this would allow you to keep the blue theme installed.

Unfortunately, as far I know the Onlink project has been pretty much scrapped (due to major coding issues) in favor of Cerebus.

Not entirely. Until Cerberus is actually a working game, Onlink will still be alive. We intend to eventually get a more stable release out, with XML saves scrapped.

also, just because something isnt actively developed, doesnt mean that people dont still play it. alot of the games i play are abandonware; i find that some of the best games / game ideas never get finished.

oh yeah and, dont let my post count / join date fool you, im well up to speed on the issues with onlink and the current progress on cerebus. i have been following onlink for quite some time now.

As the creator of most of the Onlink-specific tool buttons, I approve. :classy:
