There's a bit of security kit the server has called a bandwidth analyser which stops the cracker. You need to bypass it.

The same way you get around any security: disable or bypass it.

You need to buy the HUD upgrade that allows you to see the VDPIN puzzle.

You need to turn all the squares the same colour. And, if I remember correctly, it doesn't edgewrap. Though it might. It's been a long time since I last played.

<aside, not aimed at Helper>I swear all this is in the Uplink Labs help files, isn't it? ...I'm pretty sure it is.

Specifically, you need to turn all the squares off (blue).

And no, there's no edge-wrapping. Not on VDPIN, anyhow - VSEC has edge-wrapping.

Huh? I've solved those before by solving for red/green and just getting solid colour.

Strange. I've never had that happen to me before, and I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen, either.

And that's the point! :classy:

In case you don't know, miah has a twisted sense to make us suffer. Here's a tip: find servers that only have one vdpin colour, and once you get good at it you try solving the two-coloured one.
