same happened with my server (aka my old gaming-pc) some time ago (hosted at my mom, i was at my dad at the time), later i found out that other people living there had the same problem, turned out that there was some lighting struck the powerline (luckily, the RAM chip's was the only problem, thought)

I tried, but maybe it was because I was running a couple of (CPU-intensive) background apps (including a defragger and Torchlight), but my system locked up/crashed while trying to load. :(

    >v> Then don't run them while trying to load a profile someone seems to want tested for CPU/Memory hogging.

Yeah, but it might take a while - just got a new portadrive, so I'm in the midst of prepping it for use.

Holy ass, I think it crashed faster this time around.

Incidentally, consider yourself lucky I'm on my winter break right now - normally I don't have access to a second display...

I had just rebooted my system and decided to test your save file. Onlink and/or my system hardlocked after about 45 seconds. Memory use peaked at ~2millionK (according to Win Task Manager) and was just a little over 1.4millionK when my laptop locked up. Didn't get past the loading screen.

(In case you want the full specs on my system, just look up the specs for the Acer Aspire 8730.)

Either it's a bug in Onlink or that profile is pure evil.

    i believe its a bug..
i got 4 GB ram, when i start onlink with 1.3-1.4 GB ram in use by the system, crash

when i start onlink with 700 MB ram in use by the system, no crash :/
(but rather long time to load in both cases)
(but when i make a few bounced connections again, crash.. btw did i mention i use Every Single Public Access Server & Access Terminal's in the game (or in internic) as proxy?)
