hi all i hope somebody can help me i have a problem with a mission "Change DNS record for a Server" i dont understand it. What i have to do first by this mission ? have somebody a Mission Guide from Onlink and can send it to me ? i restartet the game 3 times and more and when it comes to this mission i lose because i dont know what i have to do. thx for ur help greetz Kingpin |

You have to hack a DNS server and change data for a given IP address/system. A good place to start is, as always, InterNIC. -- Griffinhart |

when the "IP" is unknown, internic->comany's internal service -> hack it -> links -> DNS serv link! (PS: if ur really unlucky (as i was 1 time) you can find Very Secured service machine's early in the game, with security that the employer says nothing about when asking about security (bug?)) |

You just have to do what it says in the mission  Hack the "Terminal Developments Name Server" and search in DNS records for the ip; 183.44.234.78. When you find it, change its ip to 155.35.39.210. Though just so you know, I'm a very new to Onlink(only played Uplink until now basically) and have only played a 2-3 hours.. So if I'm wrong, don't hold any grudges ;P Good luck and cheers! |

First I hack into InterNIC and search for DNS with the name gived(which the IP is unknow) then you will get the IP(A name server).Hack in it and change the DNS record |
