I noticed that after installing onlink, the world map links no longer have a name next to them, and I can no longer click on a known code and have it typed in automatically. Were these two features intentionally disabled? If so, may I ask why? It seems to me like it was completely pointless to disable them. I know the map thing solves clutter. However I find it way more unintuitive to have to click on links to see what they are, than to have the names cluttering things up. What I do normally is leave links I use frequently shown on the map. Stuff like banks, InterNIC, and Uplink Internal services. For bouncing, I enable all links, bounce to each, and save it. Then when I want to connect to a server I'm hacking I load the bounces, and modify it to suit my needs. This is FAR more convenient for me. But I know that's not the case for everyone, so why not just make it toggle-able? This "feature" annoys the hell out of me. As for the login screen thing with known codes, why? I see no point in disabling that. Thanks for reading. |

The known codes thing, I haven't heard about; the map thing is an intentional feature. -- Griffinhart |

Yes you can, except for bank accounts - in that case, the very first code you used will be the only one saved. I'm not sure, but I guess Miah did this due to the "game crashing when accessing a deleted bank account" bug. Maybe he didn't have the time to edit this piece of code at the time, so he did this. I dunno.
