    Hi,

I am playing once again Onlink and I am currently in a couple of missions where I have to copy large data from one to another.

Most of the time I have to connect to a Central Mainframe. First you can´t connect directly, you have to bounce over a connection which is from this company. That point I did know. I did get the Voice print from the Admin to log into the Mainframe but when I hacked it, and i wanted to Proceed to the Files/Logs etc. I get an error like message "Host is not responding"

Is that a new Feature, or am I just plane stupid :)

I would be glad if someone could help me with this.

    Feature.

Not really new, either. Been around a few releases.

Ah ok, didn´t play Onlink since a couple of releases.

Then I look around if i get the hang of it :)

Edit: Ok I tried a couple of things, like bouncing from a terminal and such things. I tried to connect to Terminals, but there is no access from outside. The Gateway didn´t help me either and I don´t know what else I should do.
A small hint would be nice :)

    The Gateway is your answer.

Try and find the Name Server for the company and see every single type of server it owns. You then try and hack every one of them until you find out^^

Ok, I hacked the Gateway ^^ was pretty hard, but I did it. But ok, on the Gateway there is a FileServer with Files, but nothing about Research, only Data and Prog Files. And I hacked the Gateway ok, but I found nothing that would help me to hack the Mainframe or did I get access through the Gateway to the Mainframe.

    I am a little bit confused ^^

You forgot to do something to the gateway.

Oh, that's true, thought I wasn't thinking of ACS, but rather Lifting Servers :classy:
