Miah, Tycho, I was wondering what the plans were for the near future. Are you still working on fixing the current XP problems(lag, saving, etc.) or have you guys dropped everything to work on Cerberus? I'm currently pretty bummed that I can't even try all the new stuff you guys worked so hard on due to massive lag/freezes, but I'd understand if you said you guys don't want to spend time on a dropped project anymore. It's the not knowing part that's really killing me. So should I be waiting for a patch or forget all that and focus on Cerberus? |

At this point it's sort of a forced drop. We don't really want to stop support, it's just that we have no more ways to debug this issue. We are working on Cerberus pretty much exclusively because of this specific roadblock. I continue to read over the codebase from time to time to see if I can find a reason for the huge lag time, so don't abandon all hope just yet. |

Well it's good to finally have an answer. I guess I'll have to wait till Windows 7 drops on my doormat or you luck out and find the problem. Also why are you guys even discussing this? The book of Gnormu'k clearly states it's the 3rd night after the sungod Siriak sends the blue/pink leprechaun to the moon. How can you even argue with that? |
