I didn't submit this to the bug tracker, since I couldn't find a section for Uplink 1.60 bugs (only Onlink). My problem is this: I can't clear my own criminal record. I have tried it with and without proxy disabled. When the proxy is disabled, I can clear everybody else's record, but not mine. On the other hand, when the proxy is enabled, I cannot clear anybody's record because it tells me the proxy is in effect (obviously), but curiously, when I try to clear my own record, it just does nothing (doesn't warn me about the proxy or anything).

I think this only started happening when I created a second agent account. I can't exactly remember, though. Something that might be significant is that my second agent account name is just my first agent account name with a number 2 after it.

Something else that might be relevant is that I installed the 1.60 patch directly over 1.0.

    >v> This being the Onlink mod forums, do you think it'd be a better idea to ask on the introversion "Uplink" forums, maybe?

We did make the 1.60 patch, but I doubt we still have a 1.60 branch anywhere. And I don't know whether you're hitting a bug or not. Miah?

It was in the ancient repo that might or might not have been trashed. I refer back to you for that.

I meant for you to discern whether or not it was a bug. As for the repo, it's gone. I'm 99% certain that was back when we used SVN. *shudder*

Well, I fixed it by hacking my savefile. Now I have no criminal record, but trying to frame myself also does nothing :o
