As you may guess, I'll rant about the VSEC systems. Since many players complain about it, I'll be short: It's game breaking.
The v1 and v2 is almost acceptable (still, both are extremely annoying), but the v3 is IMPOSSIBLE to master, at least to me. I just don't understand how it works and in the very first click, it gets locked. I tried to put a pattern of the v3 vsec I found in a online solver and guess what: No possible solutions.

This is the time when sentinel walks in here and tells me to "spend some time learning how lights out games work blah blah blah".

I did. I can solve level 1 VDPIN in seconds. The VSEC however, is a twisted nightmarish version of it. Is there a way you guys can make it optional when creating a new agent? I don't care starting all over again, I just don't want to see this rage inducing puzzle in front of me ever again while playing Onlink, one of my favorite games that gets ruined by this impossible mini game.

There exists a manual VSEC solver called OVSECS, it takes a bit of getting used to, but it's an essential tool for defeating the dreaded VSEC.

found it. here ye go: https://www.ferrousmoon.com/forums/down ... php?id=248

Thanks a lot, mate. I'll test it tomorrow. :D

Is this the one created by Octavian? If it is, I already knew it, but I lost it couldn't find. (thanks again)

Anyway, my suggestion to make VSEC optional on agent creation is still up. Maybe it would be an interesting addition to the game (Or maybe not, who knows.)

It's a little pain to use, but I have to admit that it worked 100% so far. Still, it's WAAAY better than not having a solver at all.

Well, since you've done your learning already...

Here are some spoilers on v2 and v3. They are still Lights Out Mini, but each has their twist.

For v2, only click on lit squares.

For v3, only click on unlit squares, except for the very last click (which solves the puzzle)
