I seem to fail to understand how access terminals work, since all I get when connecting to company access terminals is "No public log-ons permitted". I might be trying to connect to the wrong access terminals or it requires bouncing through a certain system, although I've tried to connect to a Ferrous Moon Access Terminal through a number of other Ferrous Moon servers and it still won't allow me to do anything, even with PC Force. Any clues would be appreciated.

Access terminals aren't connectable unless you're inside the LAN, they are infact that bunch of PC's you bounce through when hacking LANs... they DO have a use, though, but I won't spoil that one...

Hm. Then it seems I wasn't as close to unravelling the mystery of how to access a VDP lan after all.

My problem, after rereading some other forum posts, seems to be the Cage. I have the seeds, but don't know where to use them. Any hints? If you're afraid of spoiling something, you can PM me the hints/clues/outright spoilers.

D'oh! I feel stupid now. It's the one server I never got to snooping around in because I was so distracted with ACS and Gateways and Lifting Servers.

    Thanks a bunch! :D

    >_> Well, there are only *two* systems which aren't the LAN, security or fileservers...
