    I've hacked into the bank and got 1100000c. I'm going to upgrade my Gateway. But I see "Auxiliary Gateways" in Internal Services. What's that used for?

    Aux Gateways are basically secondary gateways used for file storage. When you run out of space, buy an aux gateway and move some stuff over to it.

    i have been using one for a bouncer aswell

    localhost -> internic -> aux -> xxxx

    gives you a bouncer you have login to (increased trace time) aswell as one you can delete logs on pretty fast.

    Presumably, Auxiliary Gateways will have additional functionality in later versions of Onlink (as has been hinted at by at least one of Miah's videos).

    So at current stage, it's more of a waste of money...

    Not really, it's helpful for when you have to do "Copy a Database" missions and stuff.

    Yeah, it's totally waste because, I mean, who needs to back up all that expensive software in the off chance that you have to nuke your Gateway?

    I mean, it's not like I need a database of every voice in the game, right?

    slightly off topic. For some reason i remember back in the olden days of Onlink that i saved the voice files when i grabbed them.

    Playing onlink today i simply cant remember how i did that nor was i totally sure that i actually did that back then.

    How do you do it then? i have 128 gigaquads on my aux that arent doing anything atm (the other 128 are storing all my lovely software :D)

    Use version 2 of the voice recorder program. Once you have a voice, just click the program to your mouse (as if you were going to drag it around the screen) and then click in an empty spot in your memory bank. Voila, you've recorded and saved someone's voice.

    Its been a while since I have played and this may sound ridiculous, but how do I upgrade the memory on my Aux? I messed with it for about 20-30 minutes trying to figure it out with no luck.

    Get the administration HUD upgrade and go to gateway management. Select your aux for the next upgrade.
