I haven't been able to successfully frame a user for bank fraud or destruction of data in 0.2.0. I tried doing it the old Uplink way with three or four bounces (starting with InterNIC) to the target server, doing the deed, and then modifying the InterNIC entry to point to the victim's machine, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. Ideally I would think that I should be able to do a series of bounces including the victim's PC to the target server, and then hack into the user's PC, changing the bounce entry to a bounceStart entry (or whatever it's called) causing the trail end on their machine as that makes alot more sense, but that doesn't work either. Has anyone else had any luck with the bank fraud or data destruction framing missions in 0.2.0? - Timeslice |
