I want to get into a mainframe. I see it has a gateway, i stop the lifting server from helping, delete the sys files and shut it down. It fails and disconnects as usual, but when I go to the mainframe a minute later at miost, the gateway is back up again. Any ideas?

Bug. Working on it.

Will try to fix for next a7 build, will not require a new profile.

As well as there being a bug, just deleting the sys files of off the lifter doesn't work. Make sure you watch the shutdown message in the gateway console.

I didn't delete the lifter files, I did what you are meant to do, and it comes up with a checksum error when the system is rebooting, then fails and boots me off.

The same thing happens to me, it says disconnecting remote users, boots me off, but then immediatly i can connect back to it and start hacking it again from scratch.

Is there by any chance a workaround for this, or should I wait for the next release ?

One other thing that works is running revelation on it, which might be a little easier than finding denial and getting enough clients. Just make sure it's version 1.0 lol.

Revelation does wonders for taking out pesky systems....

i was able to defeat it with a V1.0 Faith...guess it's a lightweight. :P

Where exactly do you get the revelation virus from? Also how many denials do you need for it to work and is it permanent? I tried 20 and that didn't work. I am on version a7-r45

Here

Also, it's not permanet. Lasts about as much as a downed system stays down.
