I began game
I access to the uplink bank
I access in the account
loan increment
to leave, to create new account
close new accont, account is not close!
bug??

Try closing someone's account twice, the game will kick you out. lol.

IIRC, this is a known bug in 0.1.2F, and will be fixed for 2.0. Don't quote me on that though - my memory's a bit rusty.

After installing onlik I do see the version in the main screen as 0.1.2, should I make the updade for version 0.1.2F??
how does make that? did I already try to use " OnlinkUpdate-latest.exe " and doesn't it possess option for new version, to the maybe 0.1.2 0.1.2F is already??

I figured out how to fix this it isn't really broken (wait are we in 1.2 or 1.3 at this point... anyway It may have been fixed but...) all you have to do is make the account you deleted un-active (click on another account) and it will remove your old account (that you closed)

Last time I closed a bank account and tried logging in to it again, Onlink limped on for about 3 seconds before crashing. It's probably fixed in a later release than the one I used, but it would be great if closing a bank account could also delete the user/pass combo in the Known Access Codes list.

Known problem. The guys are on to it.
SEARCH the forum first, befor writing a complaint.
Try to search with variations of the key words!


Just don't reenter closed accounts. You usually never have to enter an account again unless you own it, that is, or a mission says so (or you found some big cheese through a transfer-chase-mission you want to obtain, in which case you usually havn't closed the acc yet of course ...)

Does this workarround also work on accounts of NPG-accs that you closed?
Lets say, you closed a acc of Mr. Smith on "Goliath bank". It still appears in your list of accs on that bank (maybe your own acc there, 2 to 3 others and Mr. Smith's).

If you try to enter Mr. Smith again, the game will crash.

Can I hit "create new acc" without producing a new one, leave and find the list cleared of the closed acc?
I'm to lazy to try myself now ;)

Out of curiosity Miah, how will it be fixed? Just not crashing anymore or the closed accs beeing removed from the list too?
Regardless of the brief insights we get of you guys here end me beeing a freshman on this forum, I allready consider you beeing a perfectionist anyway and guess the later ;)

It will be fixed entirely, but not for the next release, for I have enough to do before then. I consider this a clerical bug.

Except the crashing of course. I did fix that. Now it just says invalid username or password etc.

Yeah, I know the bug's been reported elsewhere, but I was pointing out that it would be handy if the user/pass combo was removed from the instant access codes list. That's generally the only reason you'd get into one of those bank accounts after they're closed - by clicking it by accident.
