When you bounce to a CM, you need to bounce through a Public Access Server, Access Terminal or Internal Services Machine.

As for the Gateway, you don't need to bounce through anything. I don't think so at least. ISM's should work fine for everything.

When going into a central mainframe you just have to make sure that your last bounce was owned by the company that owns the CM you are hacking. It doesn't have to be a specific type of server. You could bounce through... I donno, something like Generic Game Company Virtual Game Server 1905489108934801485028659 and be allowed in to Generic Game Company Central Mainframe 3.

I don't know about Gateways, since my computer is a Mac, so I can't play onlink right now :(

Oh well, Onlink 0.2.x will be available for Mac :D

Pretty sure if you can't get into a Company A's X server, make the second to last bounce is from a Company A server to fool the target server into thinking it's internal access. (Or what Valus said.)

Vaius: It's good to see another mac user who's excited for Onlink 0.2.x.
