I've used the search but it doesn't look like anyone else has had this problem. Whenever I open an email or the software/hardware/gateway sections of the uplink internal services, the game freezes for a second then the menu comes up. not a huge problem but quite aggravating and not something I'd expect from a system that manages Crysis lol. Anyway, I suspect Vista 64 bit is to blame here but does anyone else have any ideas on how to solve it? (besides buy 32 bit) Much appreciated

Is your problem similar to the one mentioned in this thread? If so, then it's caused by a known "feature": autosaving. It will probably (hopefully) have a toggle in the next version of Onlink.

If your stuttering happens only during opening emails or new screens on the UISS, then you'd be the first to have this sort of problem to my knowledge.

It's always when I open a mail or software panels etc, as well as the options menu and the memory tab that displays files you have saved. It doesn't happen in finances tab or computer info though :S It only freezes for one second and it's always only one second on opening. I'll try the autosave thing though

I get the shutter effect constantly...and the game always pins my CPU to the ground while it's up (although it's a dual core...~70% usage maybe)?

It happens constantly throughout the game no matter where I am. Although it's a small delay, it's enough to make me overshoot where I'm trying to put things sometimes :P

I've tried the x86, SSE, and SSE2 versions, since my processor supports SSE3 and below anyway.

The autosave feature has a switch to toggle it on or off in the next release.

I think I found the problem, I recently installed Vista ultimate x86 on my other hard drive, bam, stutter problem gone, evidently 64 bit has issues
