When i log into a system i throw all my bypass software up, then start breaking the login screen. theres no trace after vdpin, cypher, or the voice thingy, but the moment i finally crack the password the active trace starts for no reason at all even though I have monitor bypass up and its a much higher level than the system monitor.


I dont remember this happening before, isn't the monitor bypass supposed to stop any active trace?


I think it only happens when I use password breaker for admin login, i dont think its ever happened when i try to crack for readonly, readwrite, or when the login is just the password and no name.

An active trace always goes up after the player logs into the admin account, regardless of whether or not Monitor Bypass is active. Monitor Bypass only keeps an active trace from starting due to other programs being run. This is how it was in vanilla Uplink.
