http://clementcadbury.free.fr/redshirt2/ is an online redshirt2 decrypter. Designed for Darwinia, but I'd imagine that the algorithm is constant. |

Yes i know but the initial .usr file is about 3.7 mb and it take too much time to decrypt or encrypt it. I've try and after 8 minutes give me error, so i think is better to download redshrt2.exe (144 kb) in 2 seconds and work in local machine. |

Redshirt2 can only encrypt and decrypt plain text without data loss. We don't use Redshirt2. |

There is a much simpler way for this: good old ram editing. Works like a charm on uplink/onlink/a load of other games |

Google for Cheat Engine. Probably the best free memory editor out there. Comes with a tutorial too. |

Too bad neither Cheat-O-Matic nor Cheat Engine nor ArtMoney work on Flash games running in a browser anymore. -- Griffinhart |

I don't know why that would be, I've managed to use ArtMoney in firefox on flash games, simply multiply whatever value you want to change by 8 before you search.

Latest versions of everything? I'll have to try that. ArtMoney stopped working around Flash 7 or 8... -- Griffinhart |

Most flash variables are stored as Double. Using CE you can search for Double values. For some reason, integer variables (32bit / 4-byte) are multiplied by 8 when stored in memory. So if you're searching for an ammo amount (say... 142 ammo), you search for 142 as a double, then fire, then search the next value, then fire, then search again until you find the right address. If you don't find it, multiply the value by 8 and search for that as a 4-byte integer using the same method as above. |

Nope, neither method seems to work, and I tried both methods with both ArtMoney and CE. -- Griffinhart |
