I have been having a problem making the old skin mods work with onlink's new interface. So I would like to make one from scratch, and just replace my Graphics folder in my onlink dir. Has this been done yet? Also would it even be alright with onlink's owners if I mod their mod (graphicaly) and possible hand it out if anyone would want it? If its ok I do this and its the first skin for Onlink, what would everyone want to see in one? Im replacing everthing photoshop, psp, and maybe exescope if thats ok, with atleast four differnt color schemes. or maybe two sets of themes? |

I'm not speaking for anyone here but, I don't believe you can't be prevented from modding the graphics of the game. Introversion didn't stop anyone from doing it with Uplink, so it shouldn't matter with Onlink either. I love the fact that your trying to revamp the graphics. Heck, if they're good enough, I'll probably play the game more.

Great, and thanks for the support, I pretty much knew it would be ok, but I still thought I should ask. I came up with some ideas for the skin, going to make two differnt themes, and then two sets of colors with those themes, so four skins in all. If anyone has any suggestions on what they would want let me know. I would feel great if people started playing more. Also does anyone ever hang out in the #Onlink channel? If so what times. I have been trying to find someone to talk to in real time about uplink and its devcd. With no prevail. |

I don't hang out in IRC as much as I did because there wasn't anyone there. But anyways, any previews of the new graphics? |

Yes actually there is, im having a problem with the Theme file getting the background, and colors to mesh, but tonight "should" be the night i open my page, and will have the made preview for the mod, also some c++ source that i have been working on will be added. Will prolly post the site here or in my other post about my game. If it isn't a problem promoting my site here. |
