    Hi,

i am a vivid Uplink fan and stumbled across your mod. I tried it and i must say it looks very promising, but there are things that keep me from playing it instead of Uplink. So i wonder if this is still being worked at as the last release was like ages ago.

If it is still being worked on, here's a list of things that keep me from playing it, maybe others too:

    - Connection Chaining: Unlike in the current Release of Uplink, i can't "unchain" a Bounce by clicking at it. The Color Highlighting is missing too, but i don't worry about that too much, the chaining makes it really much much more confortable as you don't have to rebuild the cue due to one misclick. You can also create one long chain, save it and relink it to your current target.

    - Some kind of Status and explanation: There are many new features in Onlink, but i'm not able to find a list of what does what, how to use it, or which features are implemented yet and which are useless atm. The Wiki is no help at all, it looks kinda empty.

    Greetings

Ages ago? It was November 25, if I remember correctly. I'd be worried if it was more than a year since our last release.

We did announce a hiatus in Onlink development, but this doesn't mean we're stopping. We're moving slower, though.

Our biggest problem right now is that Onlink development is getting in the way of some of our other higher priorities, and Miah and I agreed we needed to better arrange our schedules and get more important things done. You have to realize that this is entirely in our free time. We're not doing this mod because we're paid to or because we will get some kind of reward for it. If we were, you'd probably see releases every few days. But as things stand right now, we're focusing on our other priorities. We're going to continue working on Onlink. It'll just be slow until summertime.

As for your ideas, I'll have Miah take a look.

Quite alright. I was worried you were accusing us of being lazy for not having a new release in two months. ;)

Holy Flaming Metal Jesus Christ, how old is the build you're using?! AFAIK, as of build 0.1.2Final, both the "unchaining" bounce points thing and the colored highlighting of bounce nodes are in the game. They have been ever since Onlink was rebuilt from the ground up.

Correct, actually. I didn't read his ideas. I was leaving them for Miah. So thanks for catching that!

[edit: whee, i seemed to have an old version installed as well and ran the Onlink.exe instead of Onlink-x86.exe, now i'm gonna test this, thanks =D]

The Running Change Log hasn't been updated lately, and the Wiki is voluntarily filled. I made some additions and edits to the Wiki awhile ago, check the logs. I dunno who else is working on it though, I think Eleazar and some other peoples. (Eleazar is the only name I remember! :P)(I have memory problems :D)
