Why dont you use BitTorrent for your downloads? This would reduce the Download-Trafic.

Yeah, and I have a feeling that certain people will bind it with a trojan and spread it around. Also, I expect that the number of downloads can be monitored when the file is downloaded from the Onlink website.

Not really, firstly, a warez monkey can't bind it with a virus or trojan, second, BT == downloading from a server + save lots of bandwidth

In fact, BT is so secured that you cannot modify the file at all, its the reason why its so popular for downloading MP3s and illegal files. Lots of organizations managed to crack kazaa and upload corrupted files to prevent people from sharing copyrighted files.

That failed to do that with BT because it cannot be done. its been said over and over again.

You are, in lack of a better word, an idiot.
If you download files from a P2P network, the person you download from has FULL control over the file. So, yes, it can be bound with trojans and get corrupted.
BitTorrent allows people to provide extra sources of a program, and if their program is corrupted and has not been recently hashed, the downloader gets bad data. The use of BitTorrent would inform more "Warez Monkeys" of Onlink's existance and the game would be spread to many P2P networks, often bound with trojans or simply corrupted to hell.
Oh, and the RIAA don't go arround corrupting MP3 files. That's the most hilarious thing I've heard in ages.

    Suggestion: Topic Lock.
