    Boy, it's been awhile.

I've been playing around with noise generation recently, and while once or twice I was able to get a Perlin Noise-ish texture generated overall I found myself just plugging random values into the noise function and doing other silly things to modify the values afterwards. I read somewhere that Perlin Noise isn't just the use of a noise function itself, but the repeated application of noise over many iterations.

Basically, I was wondering if any zombies are still around here that might have a wonderful explanation available somewhere of how a noise generator is applied to create Perlin Noise.
