svchost stands for service host. Basically a service is a DLL that contains a full program designed to run in the background without a gui. It can also run when no user is logged on. It is run by the system using the svchost exe. If you're running vista you can add another column to see what DLL it is running. XP task manager can't do that.

ummm... lol I learned c++ in 6th grade :D not that hard and pointers in 7th. But c++ is a easy to learn lang if you actually want to learn it. And tychos right, that website is a good place to learn.

but hey I guess I'm special since I know java, c++, c, c#, javascript, boo, python, html, php, blah, blah, blah (many more).

:D

not to brag or anything :D

Learning languages isn't that difficult - it's the logical underpinnings and concepts inherent to programming/computer science that you need to learn. After that, any language should be (more-or-less) easy and quick to pick up.

(Unless you're talking about shit like brainfuck or Malbolge.)
