Can not get support from Introversion. How about here?

i did what this link told me to do

and also what the help section told me what to do that was included in the cd, about opening the project settings, and taken out the C:\Uplink Developer\bleh\bleh and putting in the C:\Uplink\source ....i put the folder source in there down to\uplink.exe then tried with just C:\Uplink\ is this what you are talking about? Everything is much differnt in this Visual Studio 08 Express.

Im going to go back and play onlink, im loving it good job on it everyone, Oh and by the way im making an onlink skin and I posted about it in the Onlink Banter section, i think i might need someone's approval to do it.




**Edit** How do I get on the dev forum here? Or would it even be possible giving my situition?**Edit**

I am getting link errors too under VS 2k8

Error 1 fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '..\..\..\Contrib\mikmod-2.1\SOURCE\mikmod.lib' soundgarden

Error 2 fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '..\..\..\Contrib\tiff-3.4\libtiff.lib' gucci

Where can I change were is is looking for those libs, as atm i have just copied the whole contrib dir up 1 level.

We use libtiff 3.8.2. It might be the most recent. I can't be arsed to check.

Either way, you will need to build both libs on your own. The packaged ones on the disk are for VC6.

Same goes for mikmod.

If you don't have a project file for them, let me know. I'll attach them here, however the most recent copy I have it for 2005. (I'm sure 2008 can convert it, right?)

I don't remember talking to you much these last few days.

In the case of libtiff, the last time there was a memorable update was 2005. I last checked in 2007.

Besides, if it's working nicely... you know what they say. If it ain't broke...

Well, I'm more thinking these past few months. You still haven't looked into Uplink Mac's code to figure out where the skins go.
But honestly I kinda stopped caring about that because it really doesn't affect me at all.

This is semi-off-topic: As usual, I'll just wait for the issues of mac mods (and Onlink) to be finished.

P.S. Miah, I do appreciate the work you do. It's just that sometimes it's hard to be patient all the time.

Its OK. I got access to the dev forums on introversion and got the updated (1.55) uplink code.
