XNA is Microsoft's new architecture for designing games based of the C# language. I've meddled with it a little and been impressed as to its basic functions, (get a working "game" up and running in ten minutes) has anyone made anything more advanced with it?

I tried using XNA but it was missing so many of the things I'd used commonly in Managed DirectX (the predecessor).

I gave up on it and decided that game development should be in C++.

in that case have you seen the Dark GDK (free) that was release to be paired up with VS C++ 2008 express ?

it looks fairly powerful, and similarly you can get a simple 2d or 3d game up and running in 10 minutes. But i am new to programing in C++ (am switching over from a Conglomerate of other languages) So it might not be that great ...
