I'm sorry for the delay, and here it is.

Note: ONLY apply this to Uplink v1.54. Fresh install preferred.

Don't DDoS us now... :)

File doesn't seem to work correctly. It opens up a prompt wich immediatly closes and makes no apparant changes to the game.(Game still plays the same and versiontext ingame still says 1.54) Tried both inside and outside the uplink gamefolder.

I can become a mirror for the Onlink updates, I haven't used my server, not much bandwidth though. (5GB bandwidth / Month.

I'm getting a critical bug. I installed this over the 1.60 patch. When I start a new Onlink agent, then exit. Then close game. Then run game again, select agent, boom critical crash. Don't know why, I'll post log information for you, so you can debug it or something. :D
Code:
=============================================== NEW GAME 14:34, 16/7/2007 =============================================== Version : 0.1.0b1 RELEASE Win32 Build Version 0.1.0b1 (RELEASE) Compiled on Jul 14 2007 at 22:59:19 (code-C)(code-M)(code-T) Loading uplink options from C:\Program Files\Uplink\users/options.olo...success =====DEBUGGING INFORMATION ENABLED===== Loading application data Successfully loaded data archive data.dat Successfully loaded data archive sounds.dat Successfully loaded data archive onlink.dat Failed loading 'envision.dat' Finished loading application data Init_Game called...creating game object Finished with Init_Game Initialising SDL...done SDL is now opening a 1024x768 window in 32 depth ...done SDL set actual video mode of 1024x768. SDL is now changing the window caption and diverse settings ...done Initialising OpenGL... Finished initialising OpenGL. Now registering callback functions...done Init_Fonts called...setting up system fonts Registering fonts...done Loading system fonts into memory... done Unregistering fonts...done Finished with Init_Fonts Init_Sound called...setting up sound system Compiled with SDL_mixer version: 1.2.7 Running with SDL_mixer version: 1.2.7 Finished with Init_Sound Init_Music called...loading modules Finished with Init_Music Creating main menu. ====== END OF DEBUGGING INFORMATION ==== REDSHIRT : Failed to load file : C:\Program Files\Uplink\graphics/loading/filenames.txt An Uplink Assertion Failure has occured ======================================= Condition : file Location : .\mainmenu\loading_interface.cpp, line 46 ============== B E G I N C O R E D U M P ================= retAddress = 004013A7 ============== E N D C O R E D U M P =====================
Now, I've never had this error before, and I sure never had a filenames.txt file.... Second and foremost, why does it go "C:\Program Files\Uplink\graphics" AND then this slash, "/loading/filenames.txt". Why is the slash alternating? Strange, no?

Now, this is not really a bug, but I am wondering, why is the patch quite large? Will all future patches be this big? If so, I'm gonna have to look forward to 1 hour downloads from now on! :D (24kbps dial-up, you gotta love the speed. XD)
