You need to nuke the usr and log directory as well, but yes, it's just as effective as a gateway nuke.

Is it possible to alter the directory Onlink saves games to?

I'd quite like to run it off a USB, only the save files are saved to the computer.

There was already a thread/series of posts regarding that, but I can't seem to find it/them right now. IIRC, the short answer is "no". The long answer is "no, and FinalWarrior doesn't remember why that is. But he might be wrong, and the answer could be yes."

I couldn't find them either, because AFAIK the question wasn't answered. I would have posted there if I remembered which topic they were in.
