Consider this a roll call. I'm wondering who out there even cares if we do Onlink releases anymore. With the lack of bug reports and forum posts, it seems to me that the Onlink community is nearly dead. This is rather unfortunate, if it is indeed the case. We've finally gotten an organized system for implementing the Onlink mod (SVN is extremely useful), an organized system for reporting bugs (Bugzilla), and we're making good progress. But is anyone downloading and using what we release?

I've seen only a few scant posts by Onlink players, but only usually when they have problems with something in our release or need help with a new feature.

So please, if you are a player of Onlink, let us know by replying here. Even if you're a regular forum whore here.

Thank you.

I'm not playing Onlink on a regular basis, but aproximately every 2. month i get bitten by the bug, and then i'm more than gratefull for the fantastic game Onlink has become. IMO it gets better with every release you guys do.

DE

EDIT: PS. And as my post count tells, i'm part of the very quiet part of the community...

I'm one of the quiet also, but I do like onlink a lot. About the bug report. I haven't encountered any bugs so far so.
I really like the fast releases.

It's a very interesting mod, keep on the good work guys!

I'm here, but I seem to have misplaced my uplink case which contained my black coded hex device to make new accounts

obviously this impacts my ability to report bugs and help out.

I mean, onlink is the best thing for uplink since uplink came out. I think if more people knew about onlink (very few do), it would quickly become freakin awesome.

also, I look and don't touch with forums, usually.

edit: huh, after patching onlink and actually trying it out, I seem to have an account I can use that is directly at the beginning of the game. wheres that bugzilla to help out?

Codecard isn't necessary anymore. Just install Onlink without Uplink and it shouldn't ask for a codecard.

Also, Bugzilla is at http://www.onlink-mod.net/bugzilla/

I'm waiting for some of the more radical, new stuff to appear (storylines, new mission types, etc.), as opposed to the small changes that are being implemented currently. I do play the new builds once in a while.

Despite not actually logging into the forum tres often, I check it daily for news and usually read everything that's been said. I haven't played a version of Onlink for quite a time, but was excited to hear of the 1.2 update and am gonna give it a spin as soon as my project work is done and dusted sometime next week. Until I've tried it (and I'm sure I'll love it, as I did the last releases I played), I just want to say thankye for all the work you've done on it, Uplink is an awesome game, and the fact that you're making it better with new features is furtherly awesome. I really can't wait for when the faux C++ comes in, it sounds beautiful! =D But, aye, you're not alone guys, there are lurkers out there like me hanging on your every post, and your work is much appreciated! Keep it up! =)

I love Onlink. It's too repetitive though, I'm pumped for the new story.

I signed up now, just so I could say personally that I support Onlink, I play it, I enjoy it. I think it's great. I've never used the Bug reporting feature, because I've never really had trouble with a bug. So I'd like to say, thanks for doing this.

I enjoy playing onlink. I check the site a number of times through out the day.
Morning, at work, and before i go to bed.

So I say keep developing onlink it the best thing ever to happen to uplink.
