Just chiming in to say that I'm here and I love me some onlink.

My attempts to find the easter eggs have been fruitless though, I'm afraid. :(
Check the Onlink Secrets thread in General for discussion on some of them eggs...

Ooh, and try searching for the (real?) name of Miah and Tycho when you can.

Did I miss something? I don't see any post about it or any option in the User CP..
Hmm, the import seems to have screwed up permissions on that forum. Should be working now. Let me know if it still says 'no.'

I still play quite often; and i really enjoyed the extra hidden things you added into the releases. I was also anxiously awaiting the new beta for stress testing along with my brother. I'm an uplink player since the original release, even still have my bonus cd from introversion for getting a friend to buy it.

Playing onlink brough a new life into an old favorite game, and your secret additions reminded me of all those years back trying to solve the gamebibles, find johnphilips.dat and what not... I've never posted before but i definately appreciate the amount of time and effort that has been put into this game.

I do however check the irc room every so often, but no ones ever there. It saddens me to hear that there is consideration for abandoning this project. I personally feel it kept the true spirit of the original uplink going. I, among numerous others it seems would be saddened by the loss of one of the last of the bedroom programmers. I was feared for along time with the way companies had duped over introversion that the company would go under. They pulled through, and i hold a strong conviction for the survival of Onlink as well.

For the following days i will remain in the irc room as to show my support, and urge fellow Onlink supporters to do the same if possible.

Onlink isn't going to be cancelled any time soon. This is a really old topic. Miah's started working on it again, as you can see here.

I'm still here. Granted, I don't play as much as I used to, but that's just because I'm in college and because of time invested in girlfriends.
I check up on the site and the forum regularly, I just don't post as much as I used to.

Third day playing Onlink, several years on Uplink, enjoying the fun of this game even if it's not really realistic ;)
I found your Mod really interesting and i was hesitating about trying to join or not the development team.
Just one thing to say, about the website, it's clearly not clear what to Download to play to Onlink and what is the latest version. The sentence "The last known release of Onlink before the Great Hiatus" particularly pertubated me..

Anyway, whatever i decide, keep good work !

i play onlink very rarely, and i hope in a new release that will make it easy to be traslated (sorry for my henglish ^^)

i think every new player is waiting for the new version (that don't seems to be incoming)

OT i'm also wondering why isn't the onlink source code free... it's for the license or what else??

Because Miah doesn't want it to be.

And because I doubt Introversion would allow it.
