Thank you to everyone who has replied. I really appreciate it. Miah and I were worried when we released 0.1.2, noticing that there were basically tumbleweeds rolling by on the forums.

Thank you all for your support and encouraging words. We had almost considered stopping work on Onlink in favor of Darwinite (our Darwinia mod, far off in the development schedule), but now that we've seen so many replies in such a short period of time, we feel a renewed sense of mobility. We're also going to try and focus on things that a few of you have brought to light, such as the boring old storyline, repetitiveness of the existing missions and so forth.

Again, thank you all.

I am thoroughly affronted, sir. A pox upon your house. ;)

No problem, you changed it too much anyway. ;D

*Gets to work*

Here's the error: ./uplink.full: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.2/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found
If you don't have the latest GCC installed, you can have problems with it. I'll work on getting a new Linux build up, and have some people test it.
I'm using GCC version 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.0.2).
Latest in the portage tree is 4.2.2, is the 4.2 series what you are refering to?

You may need 4.2, though I was pretty sure I compiled with 4.1.2. I know I avoided GCC v3 like the plague because of how slow the code it generates is.

I don't post alot, but i do enjoy playing Onlink. I'll play it a few weeks, move onto something else, but i always come back. I check the forums nearly every day and read the various posts and such. This mod is not dead. I just think alot of people like myself find it too repetitive at times, but i believe all the new features you guys are planning will change that.

Help section?

EDIT: Oh. You're trying to access the mod development help section which you cannot access unless you have an Uplink DevCD. If you need help with Onlink, you can post in 'General'.
