So now Onlink is turning into its own game? (reversed engineered lol)

If Introversion complains (I sincerely doubt they will), then we'll definitely fix the problem.

Somewhere on Intoversion's website, they say the code card is not to protect from piracy, it is basically a throwback to older copy protection. Also, Tycho, how are you going to come up with a copy protection when you didn't distribute the game?

Well, we have the source, we can write our own protection for it.

I understand that, but my CD is scratched beyond belief, so will Onlink stop working for me? :(

Well, I figured out how to add gateways... turns out I remembered the process wrong, eheh.
How do you do it? I tried Onlink > Data > Gateways > GatewayName.txt.
I even tried dragging some ones off of ModLink into there, no dice. I also tried editing data.dat, but just ended up with Onlink no longer running (thus a reinstall).

Just create a new folder in "data" called "gateways" (case sensitive) and add the new gateway .txt file in there. Graphics go in graphics/gateway (but that doesn't seem to work as of right now, for whatever reason).

PS. Oh, change data.dat into data.zip and extract and create the "gateways" folder there. And then change data.zip back into data.dat.
