Onlink is a mod for Introversion Software's first game, Uplink. Uplink is a hacking simulation game which occurs in AD 2010. Onlink is an ongoing project, currently headed by a programmer who goes by the alias 'Miah'. This long-lived (3 years and counting) mod is being constantly updated with additions and changes to the story line and game engine. Those who thought that Uplink was great fun, but felt certain aspects of the hacking simulation were missing, or at least lacking, will find a lot to be happy with. Besides being a great alteration to a thoroughly enjoyable game, Onlink is a great way to learn certain fundamentals of programming, network architecture, and network security.
